Had them do a pre-purchase inspection of an '07 Santa Fe. They did it in a timely manner for $125. I arranged this over the phone and dealer dropped it off and they sent me the information via email. They did this in a timely manner. The only problem I've seen with the inspection was they missed an obvious grease leak on a front boot on the passenger side. This could end up being a bit of a costly repair that could have been negotiated prior to purchase. The vehicle seems sound overall as they reported.

I purchased a Ford Expedition (sight unseen by pictures from a used car dealer) from out of state and chose Agen's to do the pre-but check and follow up service. There was every opportunity to steer me into extra work and the staff at Agen's gave me the answers I needed to make decisions on what needed to be done. I have yet to see the vehicle but as a manager of an aircraft maintenance facility, I am impressed with their process and feel confident that I will find the vehicle I have in mind on my arrival. It takes integrity to counsel against work that a customer has authorized and that is the experience I had with Agen's.

Overall service was friendly and efficient. From out of town so I can't comment too much on the price compared to the area, but it seemed reasonable from other estimates I'd received. I did have to go back to get a problem addressed with my vehicle which the technicians did not fix the first time. While the staff was apologetic and accommodating, I was disappointed to not see the repair cost discounted. However, I'm satisfied with the work they did.

One of the few places I have gone to in Alaska and always had a good experience. High quality work and honest with the customer. I always refer anyone to Agen's as the best place to take your car. And I mean it.

I had check engine light problem. In finding the codes the EGR was targeted. They cleaned grease off it and cofdes went away as well asfalter from a stop. I think the vacuum advance was not working as well as it could.

Having your vehicle fixed in a strange city is a matter of $ estimates and trust. (And reading reviews if available) My dealings with these people was a pleasure, They gave a range of expenses and they came out on the money. Work was completed on time and they called me with updates when things got tricky. I would gladly recommend them. Incidentally the parts they used were from authorized parts dealers; I was, on one part, told about different grades available and I made the choice. All up front and very clear. Mike
